“Garden-to-table” is the essence of the food offering at Te Arai Lodge, using organic produce grown on the estate complemented with local food producers and artisans.

The style of cuisine at Te Arai Lodge is inspired by the slow food movement and celebrates the provenance of the produce working in harmony with the seasons and what the land offers day by day.

In a warm and inviting atmosphere, much like dining in a friends gourmet kitchen, guests can choose to source produce from the gardens with the chef, to observe or partake in the finishing touches of the offerings or to simply relax by the open fire on the terrace with a drink.
