Surfing & SUP
On its day Te Arai and Forestry Beach are two of New Zealand’s premier surf locations. There are several peaks to choose from along both beaches with both right and left-hander waves. Te Arai and Forestry Beach are suitable for all levels of surfers. And there are several pods of local Bottlenose dolphins which often join the surfers and play in the waves which is a real highlight.
Surf boards, SUP boards and surfing lessons can be arranged at an additional charge.
